Pro Breeze have developed a reputation as a well-known Dehumidifier manufacturer. Their 20L dehumidifier has received a lot of attention recently so we have decided to see if it lives up to the hype and review it. The Pro Breeze 20L dehumidifier is their most powerful dehumidifier and we can’t wait to see how it holds up.
The Pro Breeze 20L Dehumidifier meets all the criteria we would expect for a good 20L dehumidifier. It has a massive extraction rate and a huge 5.5L water tank. On top of this, it has useful features such as an LED control panel, multiple modes, Humidistat and optional continuous drainage hose. If you need a large unit for a medium to large house with moderate to severe damp issues, then this is a great choice. It comes in at a great price in the 20L category and we believe it offers good value. It has minor drawbacks such as being quite power-hungry, consuming up to 450 watts.

Pro Breeze 20L Dehumidifier Review
What we like
The Pro Breeze 20L is the biggest model that the company produces and offers massive performance. It can absorb up to 20L of moisture per day.
It offers bigger specifications than the smaller models. It has a massive 5.5L water tank and great features such as a built-in humidistat.
We recommend the Pro Breeze 20L for large spaces with serious damp issues.
Pros | Specifications | Cons |
---|---|---|
✅ Eliminate widespread damp | Up to 20L per day extraction rate | ❌ Poor below 4-5 Celsius |
✅ Great for large spaces | 5.5L water tank | ❌ Uses double the wattage of 12L |

✅ Good value | 450 Watts | |
✅ Laundry Mode | LED control Panel |
Performance
The Pro Breeze 20L has a massive extraction rate at up to 20L/day and a MUCH bigger water tank than the smaller models such as the Pro Breeze 12L. We really like the large water tank because it means less time spent emptying it. We recommend this product for large spaces with big damp problems. Smaller spaces with more moderate damp issues are better suited to the 12L model. However, if you are looking for maximum moisture removal, then this is your best bet from Pro Breeze.
Features
This model has a full LED display. The display contains the following buttons and options: 24 hr timer, sleep and storage mode, fan speed, fan only, target humidity %, mode/child lock, and power button. This type of display is not always a guarantee in dehumidifiers at this price point making it a huge plus.
The 20L has 4 available modes, fan only, auto defrost, child lock and LAUNDRY MODE. Laundry mode is one of the big perks of this model. What is laundry mode? Laundry mode turns the dehumidifier on to full power, allowing you to efficiently dry a large load of washing FAST. Please see our previous articles on using a dehumidifier to dry clothes and whether it is better than a tumble drier.
One thing we love about this model is the LED lights which change colour according to the % of moisture in the air. This gives you a great visual guide to how humid your house or room is.

Similarly to the 12L, it includes an optional continuous drain hose. This gives you the option of plumbing the hose into a drain so you never have to manually empty the water tank, an excellent feature in our opinion. This might be more desirable with this model as a full 5.5-litre water tank could be too heavy for some people to carry and empty easily. At 14.5kg it could be considered quite heavy but it has 4 wheels fitted to the base and a handle at the top to increase its portability.
Ratings
The 20L has a significant number of favourable reviews. A large volume of people reported that the product helped them clear their properties of condensation and damp whilst preventing mold. Many reviews have a positive view of the laundry mode feature.
Some users stated that the dehumidifier was far too noisy to have in a bedroom environment, this is usually expected for a dehumidifier of this size. Some users also reported that the touch screen could feel a bit clunky at times but ultimately did the job.
Value
We believe this model offers good value for money. It has a large extraction rate and water tank which are both good for the price paid. The inclusion of features such as laundry mode at this price point is also a big bonus. The primary benefits of purchasing this model instead of the 12L are the increased extraction rate and the almost 3x as large water tank.
The primary drawback of this product is that it consumes more electricity than other premium brand dehumidifiers and could be considered quite heavy. This is expected however as it comes in cheaper than more expensive and efficient dehumidifiers.

Both modelas are very similar in functionality and capabilities. One significant difference is that Avalla dehumidifier uses less energy to run. It is also slightly more effective. However, Avalla is much more expensive to buy than Pro Breeze.
